It's amazing what a little recession can do. Several states, most notably California, are considering moving their primaries back instead of forward to save money. Instead of having two primaries (an early one for president and a later one for other offices), these states would have only one. Scholars wonder if this current trend marks the end of a decades-long pattern of frontloading. Well, perhaps until the recession is over! Follow the link and chime in with your thoughts.
