African-Americans have supported the Democratic party in large numbers, especially since the Civil Rights Movement. But what explains their perennial support for the Democrats, especially since many blacks consider themselves conservative?
Black voters aren't "brainwashed"
This is going to be a fight that never ends. I don't think that Black voters are brainwashed, they vote for the person that make promises to them that are important to them. They have not been represented for many years and they are mad about it. Democrat candidates know how to work this. Things have changed over the years for Black voters but they do not all see that, it is easier to complain about happened many years ago. There is still discrimination today and it will probably be here for ever but to say they are brainwashed is not right, or you would have to say that the white people are also brianwashed by the republicans.
