Should pharmacists be allowed to refuse to sell the "morning after" pill based on their religious beliefs?
Read the article, post your response, and consider the question below:
"Court says pharmacists must sell the 'morning after' pill"
What does "freedom of religion" mean to you?
A Pharmacy like any other buisiness has the right not to sell certain products.
ReplyDeleteWould the government mandate a GM dealer that he must sell a hummer even if he/she were an enviromentalist and believes that hummers cause global warming?
The bottom line is this the only reason people make a big deal about this is because it deals with abortion, Chik-fil-a is closed on Sunday because of religion and do people cry, 'Bloddy Murder', NO!
chik fil a closing on sundays has nothing to do with this subject. ALOT of places are closed either on sunday or someday of the week so people do not see that big of a deal with it WHY they close. ALSO, chik fil a is privatly owned. but you don't see every pharmacy refusing to sell the morning after pill to customers. and it IS a government run place (i think) though it could be seen as not being a big deal because alot of places have signs that say 'we reserve the right not to *somethingsomethingdobusinesssomethingsomething* if we don't want to" so yea...this topic is debatable depending on how hyou view things O.O
